Can shredded files be recovered?
No. Shredding overwrites the file's data in place before removing it, so undelete tools find only overwritten bytes. For files you deleted long ago, wipe free space to erase their lingering remnants too.
Does VanishBit collect any data about me?
Never. Zero telemetry, no accounts, no cloud, no phone-home. Everything runs locally on your machine.
Could it delete something I need?
